KG Lillian's honeyed sound is a concoction of influence derived from her Missouri roots, love of early 2000's emo and the streets of Austin, TX. After exploring band life in an indie pop trio from 2012 to 2016, KG now thrives as a solo artist fusing the nostalgia of her gritty upbringing with sweet, ambient vocals. KG pays tribute to her Avril Lavigne and Michelle Branch pop rock inspired youth in her first single of 2022, Feel Like Me. Along with bringing her childhood influence to life, Feel Like Me delivers punchy lyrics that call out the self-righteous, do-no-wrong personality that most are unfortunately familiar with. KG was proud to see Feel Like Me come to life by the hands of multiple talents, including drums written and performed by St. Louis band Fivefold’s Derrick Huskey, production and composition by Fivefold’s Matt Benne, and final mix and master done by Jarrod Headley and Clint Wagoner.
Feel Like Me will be included in a Show Me the Music television segment on STL TV this spring.
